A statement of the categories of documents that are held by the NCTE or under its control.

The National Council for Teacher Education (Headquarters) and its Regional Committees hold the following types of documents:-

1.	Act, Rules and Regulations	The National Council for Teacher Education – Act, Rules and Regulations. This is a compilation of the NCTE Act, 1993, NCTE Rules notified by the Govt. of India and the regulations framed by the NCTE from time to time.	A request can be made to the National Council for Teacher Education alongwith a Bank Draft of Rs.100/- in favour of the Member Secretary, NCTE for obtaining it by post.
